alright, this picture was a lot more fun than i expected.
despite the fact that the inks bled like all-hell (i like using this cheap, absorbent paper because it blends very well) and im not too fond of my use of the paint pen.... i actually LIKE this picture.
i taught myself a lot of new techniques with my markers. warm greys are love.
i dont draw dascha enough, i really neglect my female characters.
anyway, when dascha was younger, she ran away to london in hopes of doing something with her life. however, since she knew no one and was female, the only place that would actually hire her was a cabaret. she really hated what she did and ended up going in a downward spiral until she worked in a brothel.
dascha eventually returned to leeds bay, but albert cannot accept that his 'beloved' was a 'whore'.
yeah, too much story... ignore it if you want.
